Thank you for these special recordings. They have an ASMR quality.

letting go and letting in seem quite interconnected. A recent experience showed me that the mechanisms of coping have to release or uncoil in order to let in what has been suppressed. The recent experience of opening in order to let in was preceded and followed by returning to a protected armored state. So bringing trust and compassion to the body's acts of suppression seems important too. If only it could always be as simple as saying open sesame!

Offering that prayer would require an act of grace and courage. And an acceptance that is necessary, but at the same time heartbreaking.

Wow your story moved me, thank you David! I’ve been having trouble getting out of bed, engaging in the external world due to loss. It sounds like a helpful practice to offer gratefulness for grief, and not expect a cure but a new way forward.
